Vicki Nuetzel was employed by the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART) as Senior Counsel and then Associate General Counsel, overseeing all legal department functions. She was directly responsible for all employment related litigation including discrimination, wage and hour claims and whistleblower actions, in addition to, oversight of all contract and construction related claims and other government agency litigation including claims under the Brown Act and the Public Records Act. In addition, she participated in labor negotiations with BART unions and handled multiple labor arbitrations. She managed and appeared in all administrative hearings including matters before Department of Labor, CPUC, CalPERS, and CalOSHA. Before joining BART, she was Senior Counsel with Pillsbury Madison and Sutro handling construction and general commercial litigation and immediately before joining BART was a partner in a small commercial litigation practice, Nuetzel & Blomberg LLP.

Ms. Nuetzel is a 1984 graduate of the University of California, Hasting College of the Law.
